In The Secret Saucer, an upcoming middle-grade science fiction novel, an encounter with a UFO turns 11-year-old Tessa’s small-town summer vacation into a breathtaking intergalactic adventure.

A lot of things needed to be designed for this story, from maps to environments to alien alphabets. Develpment images like these might never see the light of day if I didn't post them here, but behind the scenes, knowing what everything looks like is invaluable while writing.
